A basket beside the sofa solves a different problem from a bin inside a dresser. Start with what you want to put away, then measure the space it needs to work in.
For the things you reach for every day
An open rope basket gives throws or soft toys one place to land. The two-tone round basket is 14 inches high and 15 inches in diameter. Leave enough room to use the handles and reach inside; styling props are not included.
For open shelving
The rope shelf basket has supplier dimensions of 11 × 14.5 × 12 inches. Measure the usable opening, depth and clearance rather than relying on the name of a shelving system. Flexible rope can change shape with its contents; fit is not universal. Each purchase is one basket.
For a bedroom or laundry corner
The felt laundry hamper is 24 inches high with an 18-inch diameter. Check the floor space and clearance for nearby doors. Its collapsible construction is useful when empty, but does not make the filled hamper a smaller footprint.
For dresser drawers
The three felt bins are each 5 inches high. Their footprints are 11 × 11, 11 × 5.5 and 5.5 × 5.5 inches. Measure the usable inside height below the drawer above it, including any runners. Sketch a layout before ordering. For shallow cutlery drawers, compare the bamboo tray and divider edit instead.
For the bag you unpack every evening
Three packing cubes separate spare clothes and accessories. Their outside sizes are 7 × 5 × 3, 9 × 7 × 5 and 11 × 8 × 3 inches. They are organizers, not leakproof containers. Keep liquids separately protected.
For bathroom bottles and accessories
The draining EVA caddy comes in Regular (11 × 6 × 6 inches) and Large (12.5 × 7.5 × 7.5 inches). Removable inserts are not included. Drainage holes need space below them, and the caddy should dry between uses.
